The Wine Enthusiast 89 Steps it up with aromas of white corn, bread and creamy citrus. The palate is integrated and smooth, with orange and melon flavors. Finishes tropical but dry; richer than most due to 80% Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in the blend.

The Wine Advocate 91 The 2005 Brut Nature Gran Reserva is light straw-colored with persistent small bubbles and a classy bouquet. Aromas of yeast, mineral, apple, and hazelnuts lead to a full-flavored, intense Cava with a firm palate-feel, crisp flavors, and a lengthy finish.

Guia de Vinos Gourmets NA Straw gold. Powerful and aromatic, with notes of baked apples, fresh herbs, confectionery, freshly baked pastries, aniseed and fine toast. Tasty, fresh and structured in the mouth, with echos of quince jelly, angel food cake, toated bread, candied fruits; creamy, with notes of pastry. Elegant and persistent finish.

Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar Bonus Features 90 Bright straw with delicate bubbles. Pungent, mineral-driven aromas of pear, melon, peach pit and lime zest. Impressively complex, offering finely etched orchard fruit and citrus flavors, with slow-building leesiness adding depth. An elegant, admirably balanced and seamless Cava that finishes with excellent clarity and persistence.
