Grapes: 100% Tempranillo
This wine reflects the flavor and spirit of Arrocal. It is named after Rosa, the owner's wife. Its taste is crisp and fruity. Grapes for this wine were hand-harvested into 16 kg boxes and were carried to the winery in 3,000 kg trailers. Skins soaked in the must for 24 hours at low temperature. Once the wine acquired the desired color and aroma, it was bled off for the start of the alcoholic fermentation at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks.
Lurid orange-pink. Bright, sharply focused strawberry, cherry and floral scents, complicated by zesty orange pith and white pepper nuances. Shows good heft as well as a surprisingly light touch, offering bitter berry skin, blood orange and ginger flavors that are given spine by a core of juicy acidity. Finishes with resonating citrus and red fruit qualities and a late jolt of chalky minerality that adds closing bite.
