|96||Wine & Spirits Magazine||Six families from Priorat decided to join forces and, in 2002, created Genium Celler. They have eight vineyards around the region, some of them planted in 1910. This is a blend of garnacha and carinena from those ancient vines, blended with merlot, syrah and cabernet. It stands firm with the strength of a Praetorian guard, presenting the structure of the finest Priorat. It is grand and expansive, packed with red fruit flavors together with spice and herbal notes. The schisty touch on the finish adds complexity and charm. Six years from the vintage, this wine is still in its youth, needing at least another five years to fully develop.|

It’s big and impressive, ready now for lamb tagine.
