Huerta Jalon was founded in 2015, by sisters Teresa and Ana Monturiol Jalón (distiller) along with family and some partners. They can trace her family's history of distillation back to their great-grandfather Francisco. Their intent is to produce a distillation of their way of life; based on family heritage, high in the hills of the Sierra de Guadarrama, surrounded by undisturbed national parkland northwest of Madrid. Gin Monti is their first product, developed after meticulous tasting and blending trials of aromatic materials.
