91 Wine Review Online As a wine producing country, Spain is definitely stronger with reds than whites, and Aurelio Cabestrero’s portfolio reflects that in the sense that there are more red than white wines. However, the relatively few whites that he brings to the USA are all near the top of the quality pyramids in their respective regions, and that’s certainly true for this lovely rendering of Godello. Medium-bodied and very satisfying, with fresh aromas followed by delicious fruit recalling white peaches and poached pears, with excellent acidity that is very well integrated with the fruit. There lots of punchy flavor here, but also a sense of real refinement. Along with excellent renditions of Pinot Blanc, Godello can be one of the world’s most versatile whites for food-pairing purposes, so restaurateurs: Take note!
91 Wine Spectator This white is quite muscular, with a firm, dense texture carrying the flavors of pear, melon, pine and chalk. Rich and harmonious, polished, fresh and clean. A whiff of sea salt shows on the finish. Drink now through 2019. 660 cases made.
90 Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar Bright, green-tinged straw. Precise, energetic aromas of dried peach and honey, plus hints of white flowers and citrus zest. Taut and sharply focused, with intense minerality underscoring fresh Meyer lemon and pit fruit flavors. Finishes clean, dry and crisp, with excellent clarity and lingering floral character.
** The Washington Post Score: ** Stars (Excellent)
Crisp and mineral, this wine seems to draw its essence from deep within the soil. Try it with shellfish.

90 Vinous Media (made entirely in stainless steel, where it was aged on its lees for six months after fermentation): Bright straw. Vibrant tangerine, pear and melon scents are sharpened by ginger and dusty minerals. Silky and focused on the palate, offering juicy orchard and citrus fruit flavors and a suave floral quality. Finishes dry, stony and long, with repeating florality. These vines are over 40 years old. 2016 – 2019
89 The Wine Advocate The 2014 Adras Godello followed the same process as the 2013, fermentation in stainless steel and élevage sur lie for six months. It's quite fresh and balanced, with subtle aromas, fresher than the 2013. The palate is medium-bodied, with good balance, pungent flavors and soft acidity, quite pleasant. Easy to drink. 6,000 bottles produced.
88 Wine Spectator This generous white shows a nice balance of fruit and savory notes, with pear, fennel and mineral flavors, backed by clean acidity. Fleshy but focused, broad yet refreshing.

88 Wine Enthusiast Pear, melon and stony mineral aromas share space on the nose of this Godello, which feels solid. Short stone-fruit flavors are pleasing but not overly defined, while this feel sound and round on the finish, with a hint of almondy bitterness.
